Have you been wasting your time in finding out the best free article directories? I was also in same boat and then I decided to create the list of best free article directories to help others.
Following is the list of best FREE Article Directories on the Internet. A brief description of these directories is also given which might be useful for you for SEO purpose or just for writing and submitting informative articles.
This list also contains the Instant Approval Article Directories & Fast Approval Article Directory List.
It is one of the best article directories which I’ve ever come across. There are not restrictions on who could be author and who couldn’t be. This directory is absolutely FREE, registration is FREE, and article submission is FREE.
ArticlesGala is SEO friendly as it is hosted on Class C Dedicated IP.
Approval doesn’t take much time. However you must respect their terms and conditions failing to which your article would be removed without warning. Read Terms and Conditions page before submitting.
Articles Gala doesn’t accept any duplicate content so avoid it.
The best thing about Articles Gala is that it allows you to add links from inside the content as long as it doesn;t look promotional link. No affiliate links are allowed inside the content.
You can add up to 4 links, 3 from inside the content and one from the Author box.
the best thing about Articles Gala is that unlike almost all other article directories it doesn’t flood the pages with crap Google Adsense advertisement.
Registration is temporarily suspended due to spamming, if you wish to register then you have to contact them.
Article Scribble is another Class C IP Free Article directory which is clean and accepts only exclusive and unique articles only. It is a free article directory however registration is restricted to avoid spamming.
It has been there for quite some time and it is also a PR2 article directory. It is absolutely FREE article directory and approval time is short. It allows links from inside the content, you can add up to 2 links one from the inside the content and 2nd in the author box .However it is very liberal and sometimes allows more than 1 link from inside the content. I’ve seen up to 4 links in some articles.
It’s tags are little different than normal HTML tag so you have to be careful while adding html code in it.
Articles Jug – This is a new article directory but very good for quality link building. Articles Jug is hosted on Class C Dedicated IP and accepts only unique and exclusive articles. Registration is by invitation only. If you are interested then you can contact them to accept you as article writer.
Go Articles
Goarticles is another of my favorite article directory, it allows free submission and instant approval. You can have 3 links from inside the content and one from the Author box. Now Go Articles has made all links from the article content to be nofollow. So the links from articles are not so effective any more.
Ezine Articles
ezinearticles sucks, it takes 1-2 weeks of time for approval and it has got more rules than n Army’s boot camp. If you have got plenty of time to kill and you have patience to wait then post articles on ezinearticles. No they have introduced the keyword density rule and you must adhere with it, which is absolutely crap. It kills the spirit of article writers who write articles naturally rather than for search engines. I predict demise of ezinearticles soon.
Just Articles – justarticles.net is another rusting article directory which doesn’t guarantee any approval time, avoid it as it is also waste of time.
Article Dash Board – Even though it has got the PR5 it also suffers from the same problem as justarticles.net.
a1articles.com – What a bunch of usless idioits these people are just spamming the Internet.
tss-articles.com – Crap, just an advert trap. Avoid it.
isnare.com - PAID
articlesidea.com - This article directory doesn’t look good as it is hosted on a shared IP address which also host some exploit websites. So AVOID it.

It appears that the web server located at 74.220.215.205 may be hosting one or more web sites with explicit content. The web sites in question are highlighted in red below. There is a possibility that all of the web sites on this web server may be blocked by web filtering software. Search engine rankings for these web sites may be affected as well.
