The Best Articles directory has been there for quite some time and it is also a PR2 article directory. It is absolutely FREE article directory and approval time is short. It allows links from inside the content, you can add up to 2 links one from the inside the content and 2nd in the author box .However it is very liberal and sometimes allows more than 1 link from inside the content. I’ve seen up to 4 links in some articles.
It’s tags are little different than normal HTML tag so you have to be careful while adding html code in it.

Goarticles is another of my favorite article directory, it allows free submission and instant approval. You can have 3 links from inside the content and one from the Author box.

ezinearticles sucks, it takes 1-2 weeks of time for approval and it has got more rules than n Army’s boot camp. If you have got plenty of time to kill and you have patience to wait then post articles on ezinearticles. No they have introduced the keyword density rule and you must adhere with it, which is absolutely crap. It kills the spirit of article writers who write articles naturally rather than for search engines. I predict demise of ezinearticles soon.
