New Scientist selling links on its website

While searching for some space related story I stumbled upon news scientist website and to my surprise I found approvedindex.co.uk link in the right sidebar at the bottom.
So even a reputed magazine like New Scientist has succumbed to the link selling tactics or may be it is recession to blame.

WTF: Google Spamming Webmaster Tools Inbox

I logged into Google Webmaster Tools today and found Google has spammed inbox by sending same message 11 times.
WTF!!!!
Has Google gone mad?

It doesn’t make sense winy Google has to send 11 messages at same time with same content.
